Ivo Canelas is a Portuguese actor with a vast experience in theatre, film, and TV.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has a BA degree in acting by the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Portugal and in 2000 won a scholarship from Gulbenkian\/F.L.A.D. to study at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has worked in film and TV productions in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Canada, Ireland, Italy and the Dominican Republic.<\/span><\/p>\n

The quality of is work and the dedication to his craft has been many times recognised by his audience and peers alike.<\/span><\/p>\n

Several times nominated for the excellency of his work he was awarded (among others) the Portuguese Golden Globe two times for his work in film and one time for his work in the theatre.<\/span><\/p>\n
