Marta Paiva was born in 1994, in a small village in S\u00e3o Pedro do Sul, Portugal. She has a degree in Graphic Design from ESAD CR and has always seen photography as a form of expression. The artist explores portrait photography and, above all, self-portrait, already having an individual exhibition of her project \u201cEu, Descart\u00e1vel\u201d, resulting from the artistic residency she did at Casa Varela, in Pombal, at the end of 2022 and two group exhibitions in 2021. She won the 1<\/span>st<\/span> in the 5<\/span>th<\/span> edition of the arts competition, ATUAARTE in the photography category with the project \u201cEncontros Comigo\u201d and the prize for Best Portrait at the 2023 at Insties Gerador.<\/span><\/p>\n
