Constan\u00e7a Duarte was born in Coimbra on a spring morning in 1994. Her interest in art arose from her early contact with her mother’s library.\u00a0<\/span>Her academic and professional career was marked by indecision. She found her place in illustration and later also in ceramics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She was the winner of the Aveiro Young Creator Award 2023 in the Illustration category. She has been exhibiting her illustration work in collective exhibitions since 2018. In 2022, she exhibited her \u201cFamily Portraits\u201d for the first time individually at \u00d3!Galeria and in 2023 she held her first solo ceramics exhibition: \u201cCosmic Blue\u201d at \u00d3!Cer\u00e2mica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She currently dedicates herself to exploring different techniques, from drawing to ceramics, and to creating imaginary narratives. Above all, she does not know how to live without inventing stories and also does not show much interest in learning.<\/span><\/p>\n
