Diana Sousa
Textile Pattern Maker
Diana Sousa was born in Paredes in 1986 and is a textile pattern maker. In 2008, she completed the degree in Cardiopneumology, a career she never pursued. In 2012, she studied clothing modeling at the Fashion School of Porto. Photography emerged in 2018 with the courses at the Instituto de Produção Cultural e Imagem (IPCI) in Oporto. She sees in Photography an opportunity, through self-representation, to raise awareness and question human invisibility in this frenetic world in which we live. One of her images was one of Lens Culture Editor’s Picks at the “ART PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2022″.
