Graça Paz
Artist
Graça Paz, an artist born in Porto in 1967, has chosen to live and work in the rural north of Portugal.
Greatly influenced by the musical environment in which she grew up, her work, mostly geometric abstract, bridges the gap between classical music and the way she, consciously or unconsciously, emotionally expresses herself from the inside out in a context that contains no words.
A learner of emotional psychology and a writer, she puts herself and her work at the center of learning especially through watercolor and acrylic, in search of a balance between rigidity and fluidity.
She studied Art at Árvore cooperative and graduated in Fashion Design at Citex in Porto.
