Malte Brandenburg is an emerging, self-taught photographer from Berlin, who lives and works in Copenhagen. He is co-founder of visual arts collective Copenhagen Format, a group of international photographers who collaborate on different art projects and who support emerging artists through workshops and other initiatives. In his work he often prefers order and symmetry and his photographs are typically characterized by a very minimalistic look. Malte presents his work in exhibitions on a regular basis and he has been featured in various media. Many of his projects are connected to his home town Berlin as for example his latest project “Stacked”, which has been published on wired.com, ignant.de and several others and which will be presented in an exhibition this summer.
