Pedro Campos Costa, Lisbon 1972.
Founder and managing partner of Campos Costa Architects, he develops R&D projects such as Lisbon Aquarium Extension or the Ozadi Tavira Hotel extension and rehabilitation, among other multidisciplinary activities from curatorial projects, stage design projects, art installations and happenings to research projects or organization of national and international workshops.
Winner of several prizes – Fad 2015, by Arquinfad, “A.prize 2012 Exposynergy” by Milan Triennial, Gyeonggi International Ceramix Biennale, South Korea, “Prémio Valmor” by Lisbon City Hall, “Europe 40 under 40 2012” by European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and “Next Generation” by Metropolis Magazine, New York, among others. He is a guest professor and a conference speaker in several schools across the world and also an editor in different architectural magazines both in Portugal and Italy.
In 2014, he was the Curator of the Portuguese Official Representation at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition-La Biennale di Venezia, presenting the project “Homeland | News from Portugal “.
