Launched in the early 1950s, the “You’ll Like It” advertising campaign marked a new direction in Sandeman’s communication, focusing on everyday scenes and cultural references close to the consumer. Aimed especially at the British market, it used engaging illustrations and direct phrases to show how Sandeman Port and Sherry were part of life’s simple yet special moments. With a warm and approachable tone, the campaign sought to demystify the consumption of Port and Sherry, reinforcing the idea that these wines are for every taste — and every occasion. Its constant signature: the promise, “You’ll Like It.”
