Christian Haas is not only a reference in world Design, but one of its most productive and expressive talents.
A German who fell in love with Porto after several years in Paris, he created his Studio in the North of Portugal and invested in national production, adding craftsmen whose technique he admires, taking the detail and magic of each piece from Los Angeles to Kyoto, collaborating with the most representative brands in the fields of Product and Interior Design – such as Rosenthal, Karakter, Tecta, Idée/MUJI or Villeroy & Boch -, and designing from scratch the ROPES project, which is today part of the VITRA Collection.
He is a porcelain lover, which he brings to POSTER Mostra in a revolutionary way with the JIKI Photography, IMARI Lipgloss 848-0001 that “tells” in a unique way the history of porcelain production in Japan in the Saga area in Kyushu, the country’s most precious secret for centuries.
