Kampus
Street Artist
Brazilian – Portuguese KAMPUS developed his artistic language in his early teens by writing on walls. After his Graphic Design studies he ventured out further and introduced his work to the streets of Bali, the US, Europe, Brazil and beyond.
His recognisable Sausage character acts as a joyful, humorous visual moniker commenting on societal force-feeding and the conditioning into conformity sold as a novelty. The sausage bends effortlessly to fit its environment, reminding each passer-by of the absurdity of abandoning individuality whilst representing a future idea of independent thought and dissent.
