Ana Malta
Visual Artist
Ana Malta (Lisbon, 1996), visual artist based in Lisbon represented by Galeria São
Mamede. She studied Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and took a Masters in Creative Industries Management from UCP-Porto. Her work is developed through the study of color, patterns, composition and scratching materials, vehicles of his plastic and visual unconscious. A work where restlessness seeks aesthetics and where dialogue is based on the transformation of “error” into opportunity.
She belongs to the artistic collective VÊS.TRÊS and was a finalist for the “Prémio A Arte Chegou ao Colombo” and the “6ª Bienal Internacional de Arte de Espinho” in 2021. Ana participated in exhibitions at Galeria São Mamede, Museu Coleção Berardo, LisbonWeek, LiR Gallery, Atmosfera m, Amadeo Souza-Cardoso Galleries, FBAUL, Aegean, SNBA, among others.
