Carolina’s work is the result of her detachment from the creative universe, in which she has always been in. It was at that moment, when she recognized that detachment, that she felt a need to re-explore her artistic expression.
Using collage, she explores issues related to the acceptance and expansion of the self, reflecting on self-image versus self-expression. It is through the combination of the clipping, the texture and the object that the designer finds refuge from the monotony and frees her creativity.
Carolina, graphic designer, graduated in Communication Design and Marketing Management, lives and works in Lisbon.
