João Amado, born in São Miguel (Azores), is a visual artist who essentially uses formal collage techniques (both traditional and digital) to compose the visual structure of his work. Conceptually, it addresses issues around the spirit and the relationship between man and the world, emphasizing concepts focused on sustainability and ecology. It presents an aesthetic dimension focused on the surreal, in order to convey sensations of travel and build bridges with fantasy and dreams.
