Dead Combo

Dead Combo reached the north-american iTunes Top 10 after featuring in the Lisbon episode of “No Reservations” by Anthony Bourdain. Their single “Rumbero” was included in “Focus” (2015)’s soundtrack, and also in late BBC radio host Charles Gillett’s World Music compilations. Now, Dead Combo have Marc Lanegan reciting a poem by Fernando Pessoa in their newly released “Odeon Hotel” album. The band was formed in 2003, when, during a “walk” ride after a concert in Bairro Alto, Tó Trips challenged Pedro V. Gonçalves to record a track to include in the homage CD to the genius of the Portuguese guitar, Carlos Paredes.
