Illustrator and Tattoo Artist
Cíntia Coutinho was born in 1990 in Figueira da Foz. She has a degree in Plastic Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Oporto, having been a freemover student during a semester at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.
Her artwork involves tattooing, sculpture, tapestry, drawing and painting. It has a very own aesthetic, starting from real references and taking them to an encounter with the abstract imaginary, in a screen, leaf or skin. The use of vivid colors conveys the artist’s most naïf creative side.
She has exhibited regularly since 2018, and already has several collaborative exhibitions such as “Splash” and “Cabinet of Curiosities” at The Switch Gallery, and “There’s a Horse in the Backyard” at Fiasco.
