Inês Falafogo
Poet
Inês Falafogo is a wordsmith, using language as the raw material for her multidisciplinary creations, such as written, spoken, and visual poetry, soundscapes, and installations. Her works have been featured in anthologies and at national and international art festivals. She is the author of the books *Cocoon to Grow Wings* (self-published, 2025) and *Pearls and Chili Peppers* (Urutau, 2026). She was a finalist in the Cantar Abril contest, in the Declamar Abril category (2024), and received an honorable mention in the Gender Equality Literary Award (2024) and at the Lisbon Poetry Festival (2023, 2024, and 2025). She coordinates the project Mulheres Fazem Revoluções, holds a master’s degree in Communication and Journalism, and studies literary works written by women.
