Daniela Viçoso

Daniela Viçoso, born in Faro, has a degree in Painting from Belas-Artes de Lisboa (2012) and a Master in Illustration from Kingston University in London (2015). “Cantiga d’Erasmo” receives one of the bronze awards at the 13th edition of the Japan International Manga Award (2020). She frequently works in painting, self-publishing and comics, exploring themes linked to popular imagery, melancholy and the “boy’s love” genre of manga. Daniela also works in areas related to education (ComEDU: Comics for Education) and does some commercial work.
