Artist
Margarida Rodrigues (MAR) is a multifaceted professional who is constantly evolving. Born in 1987, she holds a degree in Educational Psychology from ISPA-IU. Since 2009, she has been working as a freelancer in illustration, photography, film, and mysticism, while also gaining experience in human resources, administration, and education.
She released her first photography book in 2014, “With the Absolute Heart of the Poem of Life,” based on the Beat Generation, and in 2017, “CA8A,” about the 8th house in the astral spectrum, along with the documentary “Inside CA8A,” which has been screened at various festivals, notably MUVI, where it premiered in 2017, Caminhos do Cinema Português in 2018, among others, and later in 2020, it premiered on RTP2. She has participated in dozens of group and solo exhibitions of illustration and photography and currently hosts a podcast titled “As Above so Below” and a YouTube channel featuring content related to the study of divinatory arts and their historical context. She conducts photography and Tarot workshops and continues to teach and lead art and education workshops for parents and children. She recently published her first children’s book, “The Story of the Girl with the Colored Veins,” and two Tarot decks of her own creation, “Cycle” and “Word.”
